Coloane Height Park & Statue of A-Ma

Located high on Coloane Peak (170m), this park features a Recreational Fishing Zone, the Coloane Hiking Trail, an Arboretum with over 100 species of local and exotic trees, and the Alto de Coloane picnic area at the top. Crowning the peak is the statue of the Goddess A-Ma, who holds a special significance in Macau because she is venerated by fishermen and sailors. Standing 19.99m tall to commemorate the year Macau once again became part of China, the statue is visible from far out in the South China Sea.
